Veggie Burger | Making the Transition to Vegetarian

Serves: 4-6 people

This recipe is for a delicious vegetable patty.
Ingredients
Patty Ingredients
- 2 cooked potatoes
- 3 cooked carrots
- 2 stalks cooked celery
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- ½ cup rice
- 2 tsp. onion salt
Garnish Ingredients
- 1 Tomatoe
- ½ Head of lettuce
- ½ Onion
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 Avocado
Instructions
Patty Preparation
- Peel and boil vegetables until soft
- Mash the vegetables
- Add rice and seasoning and mix
- Form into patties
- Fry on stove or bake in oven at 350⁰ for 40 minutes
- Flip over after 20 minutes
Garnish Preparation
- Chop all tomatoe, onion and avocado into small cubes
- Add salt, pepper and tabasco sauce to taste and mix
Notes
Place veggetable patty on bread of your choice. I used a pretzel bun
Add a layer of lettuce on top of patty
Add garnish ingredients on top of lettuce
